Abstract

Subject versus interracial relationships: dialogues between Jean-Paul Sartre and Frantz Fanon Abstract This paper presents some considerations about the dialogues among Existentialism of french philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre (1905-1980) and the analysis of martinican psychiatrist Frantz Fanon (1925-1961), leaning on the thematization of the relation between the subject and the Another, man and the world, and freedom for Sartre and Fanon's conceptual and theoretical bases about subjectivity compared to contemporary social inequalities linked to the dehumanization of race relations. Subsequently, we talk about the relevance given by both intelectuals to colonialism and its implications for human subjectivity. Such way allows to provide an argue about the currentness of the reflections of these authors for the understanding of subjectivity compared to contemporary social inequalities. Keywords: Existentialism, Subject, Another, Philosophy, Psychoanalysis.
