Sociedade do Rendimento: reflexões a partir de uma abordagem conceitual
Abstract
Due to scientific, technological and economic developments, the dynamics of change follow a progressively faster pace, affecting behavior patterns in the individual, social and organizational spheres. In this context, today the concept of Income Society promotes the connection of these three behaviors without the frontiers of a few decades ago. Therefore, the present study had the objective of reflecting on the income society and its relationship with traditional society, organizations and man. Thus, to carry out such reflections, the present research, from a literary review, initially understood the path from traditional society to the society of income. He then compared what changes occurred in organizations in the face of this new concept of society. Finally, he addressed how this new concept of society affected human behavior, emphasizing the concept of Burn-out syndrome. As a result of these comparisons, it was possible to identify mainly that the income society brought a short-term view of the employee's relationship with the organizations, contrasting with the stability scenario experienced in traditional society. In addition, when it comes to the relationship between man and organizations, the need for continuous income, requiring flexibility, adaptation and provoking addictive competitiveness in the employee, leads man to coexist between self-realization and self-destruction, leading to the development of pathologies ranging from depression to the Burn-out syndrome. As a suggestion to avoid the development of such pathologies, the recommendations indicated in this study were: (i) to use time management in the definition of personal and professional goals; (ii) apply coaching techniques to aggregate concrete actions to defined personal and professional goals; (iii) diagnose the balance level of employees through the Matrix of Life; and (iv) develop leaders in the organization by providing the maintenance of the personal balance in the employees and results for the organization.
