O The use of transmed communication applied to professional education for the formation of values for the purpose of preparing solid employees to work in risk environments

Abstract

This article, based on a bibliographical review, proposes an alternative for the professional education of workers, aiming at the improvement of work safety by the change of behavioral attitudes in the use of diverse platforms, through the communication media. In business, work’s security is developed and applied by outdated educational techniques, based on vertical coercive and punitive media information aimed at shaping the behavioral attitudes of people working in risk environments. We know that to change attitudes it is necessary to build meaningful values and that these values are only gained through experimentation and interaction in social ethical situations. We also know that the character of a man is influenced by the social environment in which he lives, among others the family and professional relations of a professional nature. These two social environment  have as characteristic the formation of values that takes the man to individualistic attitudes what in the conception of the author Emile Durkeim will prevail the individual solidarity. Socialization through transversal and interactive information on specific issues can generate values and consequently social attitudes that lead to social solidarity. Electronic resources and the various interactive media platforms are currently little used for educational purposes, especially for professional of the education area. In communication, workers are both recipients and coproducers of this process, which favors social interactivity and the formation of values that shape their solidarity.
